Robert A. "Bob"  Rameika
Bristol – Robert A. Rameika, 74, of Bristol, died Sunday Sept. 3, 2017 surrounded by his family at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.
Bob was the devoted husband of Helen (Kramer) Rameika for 47 years. He was born in Providence and the son of the late Anthony and Julia (Palones) Rameika.
Bob was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving as a Sergeant as a Morse Code Interceptor Operator. He had a love for computers and a longstanding career in Information Technology before he retired in 2010.

Bob was an avid volunteer in the RI Swimming League for many years. He achieved a Black Belt in Kempo Karate and in his later years was an active participant in Rock Steady Boxing at The Parkinson’s Place.

Bob lived in Bristol since 1981 and was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church, Warren.

Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters, Karen Rameika of Boston MA, and Kim Rameika Fitzgerald and her husband Sean of North Attleboro MA.

He was affectionately known as "Papa" to two loving granddaughters, Maddy and Lauren Fitzgerald, and leaves one brother, Don Rameika.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday Sept. 8, 2017 at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours are Thursday Sept 7, 2017 from 4-7 pm, in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.
