Obituary for Jane B Jovin (Sumoski)

Bristol -- Jane B. (Sumoski) Jovin, 95 of Dawn Hill Avenue, Bristol died Monday at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Raymond Jovin.

Jane was born in Warren a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella ( Goralezyk) Sumoski

She was a payroll clerk for many years for the Kaiser Aluminum Company, before retiring.

Mrs. Jovin had been a resident of Riverside, for most of her life, until the last four years, when she moved to Barrington, and then Bristol.

Jane was a parishioner of the former St. Casimir’s Church, and now St. Alexander Church.

She was an avid traveler , she loved cruising with her sister Genevieve, and her husband Raymond, she enjoyed fine dining, and liked to dress up for her cruises.

She is survived by her sister Sophia Pipka,, her nephew James Wojtyto and his wife Lynn of Barrington, her niece Sandra Goldberg of Warren, her great niece Bethany Goldberg, a great nephew Brian Goldberg.
Jane was the sister of the late Sarah Wojtyto , and the late Genevieve Sumoski.

Her funeral will be held Monday July 31, 2017 at 9:00am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Alexander Church, 221 Main Street, Warren, burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
