Bristol – Marlene L. ( Watkinson) Couitt, 73 of Bristol, died Sunday May 21, 2017 at home.
Born in Fall River a daughter of the late John and Rose( Frain) Watkinson. Marlene was the former wife of Gary Couitt,

She was a bookkeeper for the former Almac’s Grocery Store for over 20 years. Mrs. Couitt has been a Bristol resident for over 6 years coming from Warren.

Besides her former husband she is survived by her son Gary Couitt Jr. of Morristown New Jersey, her daughters Lori Anderson of New York, and Kerry Santerre and husband Cory of Bristol. She was the sister of Edward Watkinson of Cranston, and Clinton Watkinson of Swansea, Ellen Forest of Bourne Ma., and Beverly LeBreux of South Windsor Ct.

Marlene was the grandmother of Alyssa, Marc, Christine, Jordan, Chelsea, Devin, Cameron, and Ethan. She was also the great grandmother of 8, and survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marlene was the sister of the late William, John, Donald, and Robert Watkinson, Irene Charles, Jean Holden, and Dolores Trombley.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren where family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 23rd , 4-7pm. Services will begin from the funeral home at 8:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial in St Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren.
