Obituary for Alfred M. "Freddie" Medeiros Jr.
Rehoboth -- Alfred M “ Freddie” Medeiros Jr, 60 of Rehoboth Ma, died unexpectedly, on Wednesday March 15, 2017, at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was the husband of Cynthia M. (Burchard) Medeiros.
Freddie was born in Fall River a son of the late Alfred M. and Rita (Yergeau) Medeiros Sr.
Mr. Medeiros was a truck driver for the Holmes Transportation Company for the last 6 years.
Freddie has been a Rehoboth resident for the last 20 years, coming from Warren.
He was a member of the Warren Portuguese Club, and the Over the Hill Motorcycle Club of Warren.
Besides his wife he is survived by his son Shane M. Medeiros of Rehoboth Ma., his daughter Mackenzie M. Medeiros of Rehoboth MA., his brothers Kenneth Medeiros Sr. of Bristol, and Richard “ Rick” Medeiros of Warren, his sisters Jo-Ann Ward of Bristol, Laurie Medeiros of Lancaster MA.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Freddie’s funeral service will be held Saturday March 18, 2017 at 3:30pm in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday from 1-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Bank Newport in Memory of Alfred M. Medeiros Jr., in order to help his family.
