The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Roger Pray can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Roger M Pray

Roger M  Pray
Roger M. Pray, Jr., 69 of Bristol and formerly Warren died March 6,2017 at home.

Father of Holly Ann Pray of East Providence and Melissa Pray Hamilton of Barrington.

Brother of William R. of Rehoboth and Timothy A. of Bristol.

Grandfather of Matthew and Nicole Hamilton. Former husband of Carol L. Pray.

Preceded in death by his parents, Roger M. and Dorothy May (Braksator) Pray and brothers, Michael L. and Robert N. Pray.

Graduate of RIC Class of 1970 achieving a BS in Industrial Arts Education. Roger was a self employed contractor, self proclaimed master of much, and born with the gift of gab.

His greatest love was fishing and he was an active member of The Riverside Sportsmen Association. He received several awards during his years of involvement with Rhode Island Bass Federation as the State Youth Director, East Bay Bass Masters and The Bass Federation.
He was Past President of the Rotary Club of Warren Rhode Island, Inc., and a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow award.
Roger was very involved with many community service projects and regularly gave his time and knowledge to help others.


A simple service will be held in July at Stafford Pond in Tiverton, RI.
