Michael P. "Mickey"  Kinney
Michael P. “ Mickey” Kinney, 69, of Warren, died friday January 13 2017, at the Coventry Health Center.

He was the life -time partner of Peggy MacDougall.

Mickey was born in Fall River, a son of the late Charles M. and Adeline (Mendes) Kinney.

Mr. Kinney was a part time school bus driver for the First Student Bus Company, for over 7 years, prior to that , he worked for the Providence Journal as a color plate inspector, for over 20 years.

He was a US Navy Veteran .

Mickey was a Warren resident all of his life, and a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church.
He was a member of the East Warren Rod and Gun Club, he enjoyed shooting, fishing and hunting with a bow and arrow and a rifle.

Besides , Peggy he is survived by a son Matthew Kinney of Warren, 2 brothers Kenny Kinney of Warren, and Charles Kinney of Orange , Texas.
He was the step father of Gregory , Eric, and Cheryl.
He was the grandfather of 6, and great grandfather of 3, and also survived by 2 nieces, and 1 nephew.

Mickey was the brother of the late George Kinney.

His funeral will be held Monday January 23, 2017 at 9:30am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St., Warren, burial with Military Honors, will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery , Vernon St., Warren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are Sunday from 2-5pm.
