Riverside -- Jerry W. Ward, 72, of Riverside, died Saturday Oct. 8, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Providence.

He was the husband of Jo –Ann (Medeiros) Ward.

Jerry was born in Bexar Texas a son of the late Charles P. and Nora (Fox) Ward.

Mr. Ward was a Truck Driver for the Frito – Lay Company for 25 years.

He was a US Army Veteran Serving as a Spec 4.

Jerry, has lived in Riverside for 3 years coming from Warren, he had attended St. James Lutheran Church in Barrington.

Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Jerry Ward of Fairfax Virginia, and Justin Ward of Riverside R.I., his brother Michael Ward of Nashville Tenn.

Jerry was the grandfather of Khloe Lee Ward, and Tallon Walker Ward.

He was the brother of the late Pat Ward, and also the late Cathy Coscia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Tuesday Oct. 11, 2016 from 5-7pm in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.

Mr. Ward’s funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00am in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in South Burial Ground, Sowamsett Avenue , Warren.
