Bristol - William P. Barnowski, Jr, 73 of Bristol , and formerly of Warren died Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Miriam Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Joan ( Ellis) Barnowski.
He was born in Pittsburgh ,PA.. a son of the late William P. and Josephine ( Szal) Barnowski , Sr.
William was an Electrician for Walco Electric for many years before retiring.
He was a US Navy Veteran .
Mr. Barnowski, has lived in Bristol for over 3 years, coming from Warren.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. William was a member of the East Bay Bass Association.
Mr. Barnowski enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, he also enjoyed painting and reading.
He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots.
William, is survived by his children Norman Barnowski and his wife Cindy of Warren, Warren Barnowski and his wife Maria of Warren, Beth Martin and her husband Todd of Swansea, Susan Dumkuski and her husband Robert of Warren.
He was the brother of Judith "Babe" Beruh of Pittsburgh, PA., Valerie " Sparkle" Carpellotti of McKees Rocks PA., and Barbara Elms of Louisiana.
Mr. Barnowski , was the grandfather of Michael Barnowski, Jennifer Barnowski, Nikole Gouveia, Victoria Gouveia, Dalton Gouveia, Evangelina Martin, Brandon Barnowski, Cory Barnowski, Kyle Dumkuski, Aarin Dumkuski, Jacob Dumkuski, Jordan Dumkuski, Robbie Dumkuski Jr.
He was the great grandfather of Scarlett Grimes, Reese Grimes, and Kayden Grimes.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Sunday December 9, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
