Obituary for Michael H. Zorra
Portsmouth -- Michael H. Zorra, 54,of Portsmouth, RI, died Thursday,September 20 ,2018 at home.
Michael was born in Fall River, MA., a son of John S. and Maria F. ( Furtado) Zorra Jr. of Swansea MA.
Michael had spent a lot of time helping out at the James L. Maher Center.
Mr. Zorra has lived in Portsmouth for over 31 years, coming from Warren. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic's Church, Swansea.
Michael enjoyed playing the harmonica, and like wearing hats.
Besides his parents he leaves a brother Steve Silveira Zorra of Swansea, his sisters Holly Gardiner of Manchester,CT.,Theresa Bettencourt of Riverside, RI , and Anne Marie Zorra of Swansea Ma.,
He also leaves behind his eight nieces and nephews, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His funeral will be held Saturday ,September 29,2018 at 8:00 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Dominic Church ,1277 Grand Army of the Republic Hwy, Swansea, MA 02777.
Burial will follow in gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend . Calling hours are Friday September 28, 2018 from 4-7pm.
