LOUISE YOLANDA (DeLUCA) FERRAZZANO. 94 died peacefully, at The Autumn House, A Memory Care Facility, on Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Viera, Florida. She was the wife of the late Benedict L. Ferrazzano.
Louise was the daughter of the late Leonardo DeLuca and Anna Malafronte DeLuca. Raised in Bristol, RI. She was a 1941 Graduate of Colt Memorial High School, where everyone knew her as “Sun Bonnet Sue”
She married Big Ben in 1946 and made her home in Warren where she and her husband owned and operated “Ferrazzano Flowers” for over 50 years -- a family owned business for more100 years.
Louise was an active member of the Warren Senior Center; her love for Bingo and Playing Cards never interfered with her crocheting and Italian cooking. However, her most cherished love was spending time with her family.
Louise leaves behind her son, Benedict L. Ferrazzano, III (Gail), Peggy Barkett (Ely), Betty-Lou Martin (Jack) and Andrea Chauvin (Rit). Eight Grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Smith Funeral & Memorial Service, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI from 4:00-7:00 PM. Burial will be private.
