Catherine Anne  Drysdale
Bristol - Catherine Anne Drysdale, 92 of Dawn Hill Road, Bristol and formerly of Warren, died Wednesday , May 2, 2018 at the Saint Elizabeth Manor in Bristol, where she had been living the last few years.

She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late William and Anne ( Higgins) Drysdale.

Catherine retired from the Naval War College, having worked 32 years for the government.. She received numerous awards during her tenure with the Navy. Catherine subsequently worked for D.C.Y.F. for a short period of time.

A Warren resident for most of her life, she was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church.

Catherine, was a member of the Golden Retriever Rescue, The American Legion Auxiliary Helping Hands for Animals and secretary for the Bristol County Business and Professional Women's Club.
She sang with the Bristol County Interfaith Choir for over 20 years. She loved music and animals, especially Golden Retrievers..

She leaves behind several cousins.

Catherine's funeral will be held Friday , May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren,,RI., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4-7pm.
