Warren – Manuel E. Perry Jr. , 98, of Warren died Monday February 26, 2018, at home.
He was the husband of the late Edith (Rogers) Perry.

Manuel was born in Warren, a son of the late Manuel E. and Mary (Carvallo) Perry Sr.

Mr. Perry was a serviceman for the Bristol- Warren Gas Company, for many years.

Manuel has lived in Warren all of his life.

Mr. Perry , was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, where he was very involved and active as an Altar Server, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Holy Ghost Society.

He was a one of the originators of the Warren Rescue Squad, and was a lifetime member of the Warren Fire Department , on the Massasoit Hook and Ladder .

Mr. Perry is survived by his daughters Cathryn Tavares and her husband Albert of Warren, and Audrey Perry of Warren.

He was the grandfather of Lori Andreozzi and her husband Paul , Audrey Scott and David Russell .

Mr. Perry was the great grandfather of Bryan Andreozzi and his wife Kristen, Mitchell Scott, Kathryn Andreozzi, Mason Scott .

Also he was the great great grandfather of Sophia Andreozzi.

Manuel was the brother of the late Frank Perry, and the late Mary Smith and he was also the great great grandfather of the late Addison Andreozzi.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 9:30am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Avenue, Warren. Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, or to the Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, 02871
