Paul J.  Palumbo
Paul J. Palumbo, 90 of Warren, died Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was the husband of Dorothy (Sylvia) Palumbo, they have been married for over 70 years.
Paul was born in Barrington, a son of the late Carlo and Louise (Lombardi) Palumbo. He has been a Warren resident since 1947.
Mr. Palumbo was a Truck Driver for over 30 years, before retiring from the Johnson Motor Lines in 1981. He enjoyed playing golf, and was a golf caddy at the Rhode Island Country Club in his youth. Paul liked spending time in Florida, and he really loved listening to Frank Sinatra music. Mr. Palumbo also liked the New England Patriots.

Paul was a parishioner of St. Alexander’s Church, and a member of the Teamsters Local Union 251, Retirees Chapter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons Paul Palumbo (and his wife Christine) and William Palumbo (and his wife Deborah), both of Warren.

He was the grandfather of 5 (Debra Maynard, Heather Palumbo, Holly Palumbo, Richard Palumbo and Paula Palumbo), and great-grandfather of 4 (Drew Maynard, Hunter Bagwell, Delaney Bagwell and Zoe Palumbo).

Paul was the brother of the late Carl Palumbo.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 8:30am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Alexander’s Church, 221 Main Street, Warren. Burial will follow in St. Alexander’s Cemetery, Greenlawn Avenue, Warren.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm.
