Bristol - Ameila ( Rodrigues) Silva, 89, of Bristol, died Monday August 13, 2018 at Hope Hospice.

She was the wife of the late Clarence Silva.

Amelia was born in Bristol a daughter of the late Mariano and Margaret ( Marshall) Rodrigues.

She was an assembler for the Converse Rubber Company for over 25 years, and she also ran the former Towne Coffee Shop in Bristol for over 25 years.

Amelia has lived in Bristol for most of her life, she belonged to St. Michael's Church in Bristol.

Mrs. Silva, liked to play Bingo and liked dancing.

Amelia is survived by her children, Richard Silva and his wife Nancy of Warren, Gary Silva and his wife Denise of Swansea, Donna Castigliego and her husband Michael of Bristol, Debra Langevin of Warwick, and her late husband Roland.

She was the grandmother of 8, and the great grandmother of 7, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Manuel , Joseph, Mariano, Raymond Rodrigues, Mary Costa, Margaret Garcia, and Frances Pacheco.

Her funeral service will be held Monday August 20,2018 at 7:00pm in the SMITH FUNERAL, MEMORIAL and CREMATION SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Monday August 20,2018 from 4-7pm.
